Sylvia was born in raised in Chicago, IL and moved to Northwest Indiana in December of 2007. Sylvia received her Associates in Criminal Justice in March of 2016. It wasn’t until she started working for St. Jude House when she realized that her passion was to help those in need. She worked for St. Jude House as a Client Advisor for over two years.

At first she wanted to volunteer at Fair Haven, but the opportunity to become a Victim Advocate presented itself, and she took a shot at it and she’s now part of the Fair Haven team.

She is looking forward to help people on their road to recovery. Sylvia’s favorite way to spend her free time is spending time with her friends and family.
